Manuka Honey

Manuka Honey is made in Australia and New Zealand bees that pollinate the native Manuka bush. Advocates say it can treat wound infections and other condition.

I was lucky enough to tour the testing facility and also be out in field with the beekeepers as they place the hives around the country to best position them to work the Manuka plant. It is never guaranteed that the bees will work the tea tree but by focusing on key conditions, and waiting for month in a barrel, the hope is the honey will contain that liquid gold that returns a high market value.
